Can I walk?
Absolutely! Walkers are welcome. The course time limit is 90 minutes from race start. Participants should plan to complete the course by 9:30 AM; at that time, roads will re-open to vehicles. 

Do I need to identify as LGBTQIA+ to participate?
Nope! Everyone who supports Queer Run’s mission is welcome to participate.

Can I transfer my bib to someone else?
Yes! Bib transfers are permitted. Please follow the instructions in RunSignUp to transfer your registration prior to race day.

Can I defer my registration to next year?
Reach out to us at contact@queerrun.net about registraton deferrals.

Can I receive a refund if I cannot participate?
Registrations are non-refundable.

Are dogs allowed on course?
For participant safety, dogs and pets are not permitted on the race course. Service animals performing trained tasks for participants are welcome.

Are kids allowed?
Yes! Kids and families are welcome at the Queer Run Philly 5K. Students Run Philly Style is one of our proud sponsors, so this event is absolutely inclusive of kids and young adults.

Are strollers allowed?
Due to the looped course design and mixed paces on course, strollers are not permitted at the 2026 event for participant safety reasons. We know many families enjoy participating in races together and appreciate your understanding as we work to create the safest possible experience for everyone.

Where do I pick up my bib? Is race day pickup available?
Race day bib pickup will take place on the morning of the race. A full race day guide with packet pickup information and other event details will be shared approximately two weeks before race day.
