Pomham Rocks Lighthouse Run

Join us as we celebrate one of Rhode Island's maritime treasures - the Pomham Rocks Lighthouse.  Run through beautiful Riverside and choose from a 5k or 10k distance and help us raise some funds for this historic piece of architecture.  The 10k race includes sweeping views of the lighthouse.  

Pomham Rocks Lighthouse sits on an island in the Providence River about 200 yards off the shoreline of the Riverside neighborhood of the city of East Providence, Rhode Island. The light was established in 1871.

RACE DETAILS

The 10k race will start at 8am at Larisa Park, with the 5k following at 8:30am.  Bib pick up will also take place at Larisa Park starting at 6:30am

There will be one aid station on the 10k course, at the Squantum Club turn-around.  The 5k will not have water on course, please plan on carrying your own hydration if you need it.

Race shirts are limited to the first 300 registrants.

AWARDS

Awards will be given for Male and Female Overall and Age Group Winners in both the 5k and 10k races, according to the following categories:

• 1st Place Overall - M/F
• 1st Place - Junior (18 and under) M/F
• 1st Place - Open (19-29) M/F
• 1st Place - Sub-Master (30-39) M/F
• 1st Place - Master (40-49) M/F
• 1st Place - Senior (50-59) M/F
• 1st Place - Veteran (60-69) M/F
• 1st Place - Grand Veteran (70+) M/F

PRIZES AND PIZZA
The Awards Ceremony will take place at 9:30 am. Winners, pick up your prize and everyone can reenergize with pizza. Thank you to Jersey Mike’s Subs, Scialo’s County Bakery and Vienna Bakery for their donations.

OFFICIAL POST RACE PARTY
Join us at The 133 Club, 20 Warren Avenue, East Providence for a pint of beer or a glass of wine to celebrate your run. Just show your race bib on the day of the run for your complimentary drink, and then start the party.
