Race Day Timeline:
- 6:45 AM Packet Pickup & Race Day Registration opens @ Ridgefield Playhouse parking lot.
- 7:30 AM Runners Start
- 7:33 AM Police Officers Start
- 8:30 AM Approximate last runner
- 8:35 Awards
We will have overall awards for 1st, 2nd, 3rd male & female winners, and a "Top Cop" award. All finishers get a donut and coffee!
Due to the off-road sections, there will not be a lead bike or vehicle for this race. We will have signs, pink flags (on the off-road parts) and volunteers to guide you, but it is the runner's responsibility to know the course. Please take a look at the course map here.
IN AN EFFORT TO REDUCE WASTE, THE LAST DAY TO GET A GUARANTEED A SHIRT UPON REGISTRATION IS THURSDAY, OCTOBER 24.
After that date, you will have to wait until race day (after the race) to see what we have from the no-show shirts.
The race starts and finishes in the parking lot of the Ridgefield Playhouse. There will be one fluid station, at the top of the Ridgefield Rail Trail (approximately mile 2.7) Please note that this is a multi-surface course involving roads, sidewalks, stairs, grassy fields, wooded single-track trails, and the hard-packed gravel of the Ridgefield Rail Trail. Some surfaces might be slippery and you might get muddy!
Limited parking is available at Yanity Gym and Ridgefield Playhouse parking lots. (Note that you might not be able to exit the lot while the race is in progress.) Plentiful and close parking is available at East Ridge Middle School and the Town of Ridgefield's Governor Street lot.
