  • If a camper has a household member who has been recently diagnosed or suspected of having COVID-19, the camper needs to STAY HOME.
  • The program will provide one portable toilet (which will be locked when not in use by the program), hand sanitizers, and sanitizing wipes for use, as needed.

COVID-19 Precautions

The program will follow Chesterfield County Public School's requirements and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) recommendations (www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/prepare/prevention.html) for the prevention of the spread of the 2019 Novel Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) and other communicable diseases.

As of May 21, 2021, Chesterfield County Public School's mask requirement on school property is:

  • Students, teachers, staff members and visitors who are fully vaccinated (14 days from final dose) can remove their masks while outside on school property during the school day.
  • Students who are participating outside in PE or recess do not need to wear a mask; no physical distancing is required in this setting. Students who are exercising in the gym or other indoor space do not need to wear a mask if they can maintain 6 feet of physical distance from others.
  • Students, teachers, staff members and visitors may continue to wear masks in any setting if they choose to do so.

On May 28, 2021, Virginia Executive Order 79 (2021) and Order of Public Health Emergency 10 "Ending Commonsense Public Health Restrictions Due to Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19)" went into effect.

With the lifting of these restrictions, RRRC has the following practices for RRRC events:

  • Individuals who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 do not need to wear a mask or other face covering outdoors at RRRC races, training programs, or other events.
  • RRRC encourages anyone who is not fully vaccinated to wear a mask when they are not actively running or walking during an RRRC race or training program, especially when they cannot maintain 6 feet distance from other individuals (e.g., check-in, team meetings, speaker sessions, etc.).
  • If you are fully vaccinated but you are still uncomfortable around others, RRRC fully supports you in wearing your face covering at any RRRC event.
  • For any sponsor/host events and locations, RRRC will abide by the requirements of the sponsor/host regarding masks and physical distancing at the host’s business location.

Participants at increased risk for COVID-19. Per CDC guidelines, the following groups are considered to be at a higher risk for contracting COVID-19. If any of these apply to you, we ask that you consider the increased risk before registering:

These precautions are subject to change at any time. We appreciate your flexibility as we put on this training program while the risk of COVID-19 remains in our community.
