Route Notification
On Thursday, August 20th, we are excited to have runners/walkers from all over the Indianapolis area spend their evening in Speedway. The BUN(317) series is designed to showcase different cities within the (317) area code. This will be our 6: year in Speedway to showcase all that Speedway has to offer.

Starting at 7 p.m., participants will run or walk 3.17 miles through Speedway.
BLN(317) is proud to be a part of the (317) area code community of Indiana. The run/walk is not only helping people become active and exercise, but it has committed to support a different charity at each event. BUN(317) will be donating a portion of the proceeds from the Speedway event to the SpeedwayLions Club.

We encourage everyone along the route to come out in front of your house or business and cheer on the participants. We would love for you to have a mini-parties in your yard with music. Let's make this a rocking time in Speedway!

The 3.17-mile event the evening of Thursday, August 20th wil need to have some temporary street
restrictions:

Number of Expected Participants: 2,000, 100 volunteers
Race Time: The race will begin at 7:00 pm and completed by 8:10 pm. See information below or
accompanying map for specific information regarding your area of the course.
Partial Road Closures: Participants wil be running and walking on the entire road, or one half of
the road around some of the course. Some areas will be temporarily closed. If you have plans on
race evening, please be aware that alternative routes may he needed to be taken that night.

Street Closures
The 3.17 mile event the evening of Thursday, August 21st will need to have some temporary street
restrictions.
• START/FINISH: Main Street from 14th Street to Gillman (3:00pm - 9:30pm) (all lanes)
• Start/Finish Line on Main Street just South of 14* Street
• North on Main Street (Al Lanes) 6:55pm-8:10pm
• East on 16* Street Eastbound Lane 6:55pm-B:05pm
• Crossover 16'" going Northwest to go into IMS Admin office parking lot
• Continue in on IMS Grounds
• Exit gate & South onto Georgetown Road (Al Lanes) 7:08pm-7:40pm
• West on 24|h Street (Al Lanes) 7:10pm-7:45pm
• South on Auburn Street (All Lanes) 7:10pm-8:00pm
• East on Crawfordsville Road (Eastbound lanes) 6:55pm-8:05 pm
• South on Main Street (All Lanes) 6:55pm-B:10pm
