Pi Day 3.14-Miler
The March Rdy2Run Fun Run celebrates our 'Mathlete' friends. Join us on Sunday, March 14th for our 2nd second annual Pi Day Race/Fun Run. You’re welcome to FUN RUN your own distance, but we’d like to suggest you RACE our 3.14-mile course. Racers will be eligible for some cool prizes. We will also have a run-on-your-own virtual option available for those who can't participate in the in-person race.

Half Marathon Unplugged
Welcome to our 15th Annual Unplugged Half Marathon that runs along the Burlington Greenway (bike path), which is adjacent to Lake Champlain with the Adirondacks in the distance. Being held Saturday, April 10th, Unplugged is an organized, basic services race -- in other words, No Frills, No Hills! You won’t see 30,000 spectators like the Vermont City Marathon, or hear bands along the way, but you WILL experience a scenic, very flat, half marathon race. We expect to still be under COVID-19 restrictions limiting race sizes at that time, so as of now our plan is to race under the same format that we successfully produced in October 2020. This time we’ll limit the field to condense things into just one day—Saturday. 200 entrants will be allowed in each start wave, with start waves going off every 30 minutes starting at 8:00am. The start and finish will be in Waterfront Park and the course will be out-and-back on the bike path with a 2-mile loop in Colchester midway through the race.

The RunVermont - Virtual Adventure
In the summer of 2020 ‘The RunVermont - Virtual Adventure’ challenged participants to run across or around the state of Vermont. Over 300 people accepted the challenge of running or walking a route of either 45, 126, 219, or 553 miles – and 233 completed their challenge route! Adventure 2.0 will feature new routes, new distances, and additional interactive elements to keep you motivated over the summer. All entrants will receive a RunVermont buff and challenge finishers will earn their Finisher’s Tech Shirt. Look for more details this spring with a start date in late May.

Island Vines 5-Miler and 5K Run/Walk
RunVermont is proud to present the eighth annual Island Vines Road Race at beautiful Snow Farm Vineyard being held on Sunday, September 19th. We are happy to announce a new format for 2021. This year, the event will feature 5-mile and 5K options, all on South Hero’s scenic West Shore Road. Field sizes are limited so don’t wait to register. There is a maximum of 300 for the 5K and 500 for the 5-miler. Races will start at 8:00am. Registration fees are $35. The fee includes either a sample of Snow Farm’s finest wine or local beer and post-race snacks. Commemorative race tees are available at an additional fee. A portion of race proceeds go to C.I.D.E.R. whose mission is to develop and foster resources that enable the people of Grand Isle County, Vermont to live in their community with dignity. C.I.D.E.R. accomplishes this by providing direct services and collaborating with other individuals and groups. C.I.D.E.R. feels a special responsibility to elders and persons with disabilities.

VT 5K State CHAMPionship
The Vermont 5K State CHAMPionship, being held Saturday, October 2nd, includes runners of all abilities and experience to share the camaraderie and excitement of running in a race. The start and finish are in Burlington’s Waterfront Park and the course claims bragging rights for the fastest 5K in Vermont! Runners may compete in either the Recreational or Competitive category. The race will be conducted in a time-trial or small-group start format. Recreational runners' awards will be a random draw and competitive runners will be eligible for cash awards in the Open, Masters and Seniors Divisions. Recreational runners enter for $25 and Competitive runners enter for $35. All race fees include an official event t-shirt.
