What if it's raining on race day?
Bring your umbrellas and raincoats because the race will go on, RAIN or SHINE but we're keeping our fingers crossed for SHINE!
Do we need to register children?
If your child is 10 or under you do NOT need to register them for the race. If they are 11 or older we would prefer you register them. We are offereing youth sized shirts this year AND you may purchase a shirt separetly if you would like an extra or want one for you child that is 10 or under.
What if I want to participate but can't walk four laps around the track?
The 1-mile fun walk is for all ages and abilities. Bring your kids in strollers, your family members in wheelchairs and do what you can. If your goal is one lap, then do that!
What if I can't physically participate in the race or walk?
We encourage you still to come out and support your family and friends who are participating in the race. We have lots of seating to watch from including handicap accessible bleachers and picnic tables near the start/finish line.
Can I bring my dog to the race?
While leashed dogs are welcome in the city park and around the 5K course, the school has asked us to limit dogs on the school track and surrounding school areas due to the increased amount of people and safety. Thank you for understanding.
Will there be snacks and drinks?
Sutton's Deli has graciously offered to donate drinks and snacks for the race that day.
5K Run/Walk Course Map
The 5K course will leave the Angola Middle School track and go through the city park, loop around a few of the city blocks and come back through the city park walking path. When returning to the Middle School the course will go IN FRONT of the middle school, run up towards the high school past the tennis courts, turn right through the high school parking lot and back down through the new parking lot towards the middle school.
