The Race to Cure Sarcoma (RTCS) Louisville brings together hundreds of members of the community who have been impacted by sarcoma. We celebrate, honor, and remember those affected by this rare disease. Join us in the race today!

Please note that anyone registering after Monday, August 4th at 11:59 PM will not have the opportunity to join or create a team during registration. However, we can manually move an individual registration to a team by contacting us at events@curesarcoma.org.

Race Location:

Waterfront Park - Big Four Lawn
1101 E. River Road
Louisville, Kentucky

Race Schedule:

Registration & Packet Pickup: 7:30am
Opening Ceremony: 9:00am
5K Timed Race Start: 9:30am

Race Distances: 5K Run (timed) or 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk

Registration Fees:

Adult: $35
Children (Age 6 - 12): $10
Children (Age 5 and under): FREE
All registered participants will receive a t-shirt and medal

Packet Pick Up:

Pick up your race bib and t-shirt at the Registration Tent starting at 7:30 AM on race morning!
- Team Captains will collect race bibs and t-shirts for their entire team at the designated Team Pick-Up Tents, also beginning at 7:30 AM. Please do not approach the Team Pick-Up Tent unless you are a team captain.
- Team Captains are encouraged to communicate with their team in advance to coordinate a designated time and meeting spot for distributing race packets.
Individual participants (not part of a team) will pick up their race shirt and bib at the Individual Packet Pick-Up/Same-Day Registration Tent.

What is allowed at the event:

Dogs (must remain on a leash at all times)
Strollers
Wheelchairs

What happens if it rains:

The event will take place rain or shine!

Step 1: Register as an Individual or Create a Team.
Step 2: Set up your personal page, make a donation, and set a fundraising goal.
Step 3: Share your page with family, friends, and colleagues – invite them to join you! Post your efforts on social media and use the hashtag #RTCSLouisville to connect with others who are participating.
