5k Questions

Where is the 2023 Race for Rest In-Person 5k?

The 5K will start and finish at Monday Night Brewing‘s West End location - the Garage! Parking is free and the location is Marta accessible (yeah, public transportation!) We also highly encourage runners to carpool or use Uber/Lyft.

What time does the 5K start?

9:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 21st. Packet pickup and on-site registration open at 7:30 a.m. 

If you’ve already picked up your packet, you can arrive as late as 8:45 a.m. If you are picking up your packet or registering on race day, please allow time and arrive by 8:30am at the very latest.

Can I pick up my packet early?

Yes! We will host early packet pick-up on Thursday, October 19th, 11am-1pm, at Big Peach Midtown (800 Peachtree Street, Suites B & C, Atlanta, GA 30308) and Friday, October 20th from 8am-4pm at the Furniture Bank (908 Murphy Ave SW, Atlanta, GA 30310).

Can someone else pick up my race packet for me? 

Yes. Just make sure you have everyone's names ready to go.

What are the In-Person 5k registration fees?

$31 through September 15

$36 from September 15 – October 13

$40 from October 14 – October 20

$45 on Race Day (October 21)

What is the 5K race route?

The 2023 Race for Rest 5K is a certified Peachtree Road Race Qualifier. The route is stroller and dog-friendly. You can view it here.

Where can I see race results?

We will post race results on our website by end of day Monday, October 23. They will also be sent to you in the email you provided during registration!

Are there prizes?

5K awards will be given to the Top 3 Overall Male & Female, Top 3 Masters Overall Male & Female, and Male & Female Age Groups, 14 & Under 15-20, 21-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+. We'll also have awards for the Top 3 teams with the fastest average time! Teams must have 5 or more people to be eligible for awards.

Awards will also be given to the top 3 fundraising teams

 

After-Party Questions

When and where is the after-party?

The after-party will take place at Monday Night Garage immediately after the 5K. The party starts right when you run off the course! Winners will be announced at the after-party.

Can I go to the after-party even if I don't run in the 5K?

Yes! The more the merrier. Even if you don't get a free beer for signing up for the 5K, you can still buy beer from Monday Night Garage.

What do I get with my registration?

5K registrants get a t-shirt and a free beer at the after-party!

General Questions

Where do the race proceeds go?

All proceeds to the Furniture Bank in support of our vision for all individuals and families to have the furniture necessary to create a safe and secure environment that contributes to health and well-being.

What is the policy on refunds of registration fees?

There will be no refunds. The event is rain or shine.
