2025 Ray of Hope Run for Ovarian Cancer Research

May 31st Wauwatosa, WI 53226 US

Good Afternoon, Jody,

I hope this note finds you and your family well! It was wonderful hosting you on campus earlier this year.

I am writing to share some incredible news involving our ovarian cancer research team. Our cancer scientists have made a breakthrough in overcoming chemotherapy resistance in ovarian cancer – by targeting the Oncostatin M Receptor, a protein highly express in some aggressive types of the disease. More information is linked here.

Results of their study have been published in NPJ Precision Oncology and pave the way for the development of therapies that can overcome chemotherapy resistance in ovarian cancer, and potentially other diseases.

Thank you so much to you and the Ray of Hope team for providing meaningful, generous support that lead to incredible discoveries such as the one highlighted above.

Hope all is well,

Lizzy
