Explore the studies helping advance treatment, and hope for the future.

  • The Chaluvally Lab at the Medical College of Wisconsin is developing novel therapies for women's cancers by targeting non-coding RNAs, RNA-binding proteins, and the Oncostatin M Receptor (OSMR)—including a patented antibody to block OSMR signaling and advanced RNA interference (RNAi) techniques to silence previously "undruggable" cancer genes.
  • Dr. Elizabeth Hopp was awarded a $458,577 grant to lead a multidisciplinary study on Adult-Type Granulosa Cell Tumors (AGCT), a rare ovarian cancer, focusing on mapping the FOXL2 gene mutation and identifying new hormone-based drug targets to treat high recurrence rates.
