Below you'll find information on what you should know before the Red Shoe 5k on October 4. 

We’ll continue adding helpful information as we get closer to the event, so be sure to check back for updates!

You have the option to pick up your race packet, which includes your bib, T-shirt, and additonal information, the weekend before the event or the morning of the event. We encourage you to pick up your information the Friday or Saturday before the race to avoid long lines on October 4. 

If you pick up your packet at NoVA house, you can drive up to recieve your packet directly. One person can pick up the packets for their whole team.

Paid parking garages and metered street parking are available throughout National Harbor. 

We recommend the Mariner Garage across the street from Starbucks (164 Mariner Passage, Oxon Hill, MD 20745).

Wear what makes you feel comfortable—and have a little fun with it! You’re welcome to rock your Red Shoe 5K T-shirt or bring your own running/walking gear. We also encourage you to get creative and show off your Red Shoe spirit with red stripes, hearts, tutus, costumes, or any festive flair that makes you smile. ❤️👟

And yes—dogs are welcome too! So bring your four-legged friend and make it a day to remember!

Public restrooms are availables around National Harbor. There will directions at the event, or you can refer to this map.
