I understand that through my participation in the Saratoga County Veterans Trust Fund 5K (collectivity “The Event”) I may be engaging in activities that involve the risk of serious personal injury, illness, permanent disability, and death and that such participation may also involve the risk of severe economic and property loss and damage. I certify that I am physically fit for participation in this event and have not been advised otherwise. I assume all the risks associated with participating in this event, including but not limited to falls, the effects of weather including hypothermia, traffic and the conditions of the road. Having read this waiver and in consideration of your acceptance of my entry, I for myself and anyone acting on my behalf, waive and release Saratoga County Veterans Trust Fund 5K, Saratoga County, the Town of Saratoga, the Village of Schuylerville, USATF, USATF Adirondack, FC4 Inc., Raven Events LLC, Fleet Feet Sports Inc., Thwapenterprises Inc., Finish Right Timing, Saratoga County Veterans Trust Fund 5K sponsors, Peak Output Events LLC, event participants and public safety and service providers, including their representatives, officials and successors from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event, or any of my minor children even though liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the organizations or individuals named in this waiver. I also understand that wearing headphones, ear buds or other listening devices during this race is prohibited and that skates, skate boards and animals are not permitted at the Event. Further, I hereby grant full permission to any and all of the foregoing to use any images, photographs, videotapes, motion picture recordings, or any other record of this for advertisement, or other legitimate purposes.
