Description
While originally planned to be a 5K - these couch potatoes just couldn't muster the energy! For the safety of the runners, we have shifted to a 1-miler all within the Mount Jackson Town Park (aka Lion's Park). This year's fun run will kickoff the inaugural TaterFest in the Town of Mount Jackson! The race, beginning at 10AM, will conclude just as the 11AM festival start time begins! All are welcome to stick around for live music, local farmers market, the wine/brew garden, hayrides, tractor show & MORE!
Awards will be given to the top finishers in each age group, along with Best Costume & Ultimate Couch Potato! Your ticket includes a tee shirt and $5 coupon to use during the festival at the food truck provided on the ticket! Registration will begin at 9AM (wrap up by 9:45) and we'll kick off just at 10AM! There will be a couch potato lounge available for you while you wait (or if you need a break!)
This Couch Potato 1-Miler is hosted by the Town of Mount Jackson Spud Squad and CREW (Community Resources for Education & Wellness) the new community center in downtown Jacktown! Welcome!
