1.    ACKNOWLEDGE, agree and represent that I understand the nature of swimming, bicycling, & running activities and that I am qualified to participate in such Activity.  I further acknowledge that the Activity will be conducted over public roads and facilities open to the public during the Activity and upon which the hazards of traveling are to be expected.  I further agree and warrant that if at any time I believe conditions to be unsafe, I will immediately discontinue further participation in the Activity.

2.    UNDERSTAND that all participants when Swimming
a. Are required to abide to pool rules
b. May never swim alone
c. In the open water a safety buoy must be worn (provided)
d. In the open water safety personnel must be present

3.     UNDERSTAND that all participants when Bicycling
a. Adhere to and obey North Carolina state bicycle laws along with the bicycle laws established by the National Forest Service.
b. Wear CPSC certified BICYCLING HELMETS at all times while in contact with or riding a bicycle as part of any event connected with the Bicycling.
c. During all cycling segments burn a front and rear light that is visible for at least ¼ mi. (provided)
d. Travel with necessary nutrition to safely fuel and hydrate during bicycling. (BASE hydro available)
e. Travel with the necessary tools to repair your bicycle.(provided)
f. Travel with a phone to contact event management or EMS in the case of an emergency.

4. UNDERSTAND that all participants when Running
a. Adhere to and obey North Carolina state pedestrian laws along with the pedestrian laws established by the National Forest Service.
b. During activity carry necessary nutrition to safely fuel and hydrate during running
c. Wear proper reflective and safety wear while running

5.    FULLY UNDERSTAND That (a) SWIMMING, BICYCLING, & RUNNING INVOLVE RISKS and DANGERS OF SERIOUS BODILY INJURY, INCLUDING PERMANENT DISABILITY, PARALYSIS AND DEATH ("RISKS”); (b) these Risks and dangers may be caused by my own action, or inactions, the actions or inactions of other participants in the Activity, the condition in which the Activity takes place, or THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE "RELEASEE” NAMED BELOW; (c) there may be OTHER RISKS AND SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC LOSSES either not known to me or not readily foreseeable at this time; and I FULLY ACCEPT AND ASSUME ALL SUCH RISKS AND ALL RESPONSIBILITY FOR LOSSES, COSTS AND DAMAGES I incur as a result of myparticipation in the Activity.

6.    HEREBY RELEASE, DISCHARGE, COVENANT NOT TO SUE AND AGREE TO INDEMNIFY AND SAVE AND HOLD HARMLESS StarZone LLC, FA.S.T Training Camp, its staff, professional athletes, and mechanics; other participants; and any other sponsors, facilities, advertisers, and if applicable, owners and leasers of premises on which the Activity takes place (the "RELEASES” referred to herein) FROM ALL LIABILITY, CLAIMS, LOSSES OR DAMAGES ON MY ACCOUNT CAUSED OR ALLEGED TO BE CAUSED IN WHOLE OR IN PART BY THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE "RELEASES” OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING NEGLIGENT RESCUE OPERATIONS.

7.    I GIVE FA.S.T Training Camps & StarZone LLC UNRESTRICTED PERMISSION to use and/or publish pictures of me for promotional purposes.  I hereby wave any right that I may have to inspect and approve the finished product or copy that may be used in connection with a still or motion image that the photographer/videographer has taken of me or the use to which it may be applied.  I further release FA.S.T Training Camps & StarZone LLC from any claims for remuneration associated with any form of damage, foreseen or unforeseen, associated with the proper commercial or artistic use of images.

8.    I UNDERSTAND that my registration information will be used FA.S.T Training Camps & StarZone LLC for e-mail and/or mail communication relating to FA.S.T Training Camps & StarZone LLC activities.  Your registration information will also be shared or released to the event media team for purposes of sharing and tagging images in social media.

9.    I UNDERSTAND that this camp ends each night at the conclusion of the final scheduled ACTIVITY and resumes at 7am each morning.  There will be a BRIEFING each night around 8pm with details of the following day and ATTENDANCE IS MANDATORY.  I fully UNDERSTAND the demands of this camp, and if I cannot meet the demands or voluntarily cease participation the camp staff will transport participant to end of day destination.  If participants exhibit ACTIONS or BEHAVIOR DETRIMENTAL to HEALTH, SAFETY, and WELFARE of the camp, camp staff reserves the right to REMOVE PARTICIPANT from the camp and participant will be fiscally responsible for all future travel arrangements.

In consideration of you accepting this entry, I, the participant, intending to be legally bound do hereby waive and forever release any and all rights and claims for damages or injuries that I may have against the Event Director, RunSignup.com, and all of their agents assisting with the event, sponsors and their representatives, volunteers and employees for any and all injuries to me or my personal property. This release includes all injuries and/or damages suffered by me before, during or after the event. I recognize, intend and understand that this release is binding on my heirs, executors, administrators, or assignees.

I know that running a road race is a potentially hazardous activity. I should not enter and run unless I am medically able to do so and properly trained. I assume all risks associated with running in this event including, but not limited to: falls, contact with other participants, the effects of weather, traffic, and course conditions, and waive any and all claims which I might have based on any of those and other risks typically found in running a road race. I acknowledge all such risks are known and understood by me. I agree to abide by all decisions of any race official relative to my ability to safely complete the run. I certify as a material condition to my being permitted to enter this race that I am physically fit and sufficiently trained for the completion of this event and that a licensed Medical Doctor has verified my physical condition.

In the event of an illness, injury or medical emergency arising during the event I hereby authorize and give my consent to the Event Director to secure from any accredited hospital, clinic and/ or physician any treatment deemed necessary for my immediate care. I agree that I will be fully responsible for payment of any and all medical services and treatment rendered to me including but not limited to medical transport, medications, treatment and hospitalization.

As it applies to my participation in this race, I agree to abide by the Center for Disease Control (CDC)’s recommendations for the prevention of the spread of COVID-19 and attest to having read the CDC’s guidance at: https://www.cdc.gov. I also agree to abide by any COVID-19 distancing and other safety guidelines issued by the state, the community or by this race for my participation in this race.

Further, I grant permission to all the foregoing to use my name, voice and images of myself in any photographs, motion pictures, results, publications or any other print, videographic or electronic recording of this event for legitimate purposes.

This event follows the standard running industry policy: All entry fees are non-refundable. We reserve the right to postpone or cancel the event due to circumstances beyond our control such as a natural disaster or emergency or as required to protect the safety of participants and staff. No refunds will be issued under these circumstances. We reserve the right to change the details of the event without prior notice. I understand that my entry fee is nonrefundable and bib numbers are non transferable.

By submitting this entry, I acknowledge (or a parent or adult guardian for all children under 18 years) having read and agreed to the above release and waiver including the no refund policy.
