This 5K walk/run takes place on the Main Trail in Griffith Park — a flat, scenic 3.1-mile route shaded by trees, that loops around the perimeter of a golf course - perfect for walkers and runners of all levels and ages. Your participation will help bring clean water to 16,000 people in 16 rural Ethiopian villages - all  while enjoying a fun, active day for a great cause.

The Virtual 5K allows participants from anywhere in the world to complete and log their own 3.1-mile walk or run through the Strava app. By participating anytime between October 3 and October 10, 2026, from wherever you are—you'll help the event reach its fundraising goal to bring clean water to 16,000 people in 16 rural Ethiopian villages and create meaningful, lasting change in the lives of women and girls who shoulder the daily burden of collecting water for their families.
