Virtual Event Waiver & Release

In consideration of being allowed to participate in this event, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

This is a virtual, self-paced activity that I choose to complete at a time and location of my choosing. I understand that I am solely responsible for selecting a safe environment and conditions for my participation.

I acknowledge that physical activity, including walking, running, or hiking, carries inherent risks, including but not limited to falls, injuries, adverse weather conditions, and other unforeseen hazards. I voluntarily assume all such risks.

I certify that I am physically able to participate and have not been advised otherwise by a qualified medical professional.

I agree to follow all applicable local laws, safety guidelines, and use reasonable judgment while completing this activity.

In the event of injury, illness, or emergency, I authorize medical treatment if necessary and accept full responsibility for any associated costs.

I hereby waive, release, and hold harmless the Upper Arkansas Cooperative Weed Management Area (UACWMA), event organizers, sponsors, volunteers, and RunSignup from any and all claims, liabilities, or damages arising from my participation.

I understand that this is a virtual event based on the honor system, and results are self-reported.

I grant permission for the use of my name and submitted photos for event promotion and communication purposes.

I acknowledge that registration fees are nonrefundable.

By registering, I confirm that I have read and agree to this waiver.
