Firecracker Fun Run 5k
Join us on America's 250th anniversary for the Firecracker Fun Run 5K at Oglebay in Wheeling, West Virginia! Whether you're chasing a PR or just looking for a festive way to kick off your Fourth of July celebration, this patriotic 5K is the perfect way to start the holiday.
The race will begin and end at the Crispin Center, taking runners and walkers through the scenic roads and rolling hills of one of West Virginia’s most iconic parks. Expect a fun, energetic atmosphere filled with red, white, and blue spirit!
Participants are encouraged to wear their most patriotic gear, and we’ll be hosting a Costume Contest before the race for the Most Spirited / Best Dressed participant. From stars-and-stripes outfits to Uncle Sam hats and glitter-covered running gear, we want to see your best Independence Day style!
Bring your friends, family, flags, and festive energy for a morning of fitness, fun, and celebration. Whether you run, walk, or stroll your way to the finish line, the Firecracker Fun Run 5K is all about community, patriotism, and having a blast this Fourth of July.
