In consideration of being allowed to participate in this pickleball tournament, I, the participant, intending to be legally bound, hereby waive and forever release any and all rights and claims for damages or injuries that I may have against the Event Director, organizers, sponsors, volunteers, facility staff, and all individuals or organizations assisting with the event. This release includes any and all injuries and/or damages suffered by me or my personal property before, during, or after the tournament. I acknowledge and understand that this release is binding upon my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns.

I understand that participation in a pickleball tournament is a potentially hazardous activity and that I should not participate unless I am medically able and properly prepared. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation in this event, including but not limited to: falls, collisions with other participants, equipment-related injuries, the effects of weather, court conditions, and any other risks commonly associated with athletic activities and pickleball events. I agree to abide by all decisions made by tournament officials regarding rules, conduct, safety, and eligibility to continue participating.

In the event of an illness, injury, or medical emergency arising during the tournament, I hereby authorize the Event Director and tournament staff to obtain medical treatment deemed necessary for my immediate care from any licensed physician, hospital, or medical facility. I understand and agree that I am fully responsible for any and all medical expenses incurred as a result of such treatment, including transportation, hospitalization, medication, and physician services.

I agree to comply with all applicable health and safety guidelines established by the tournament organizers, facility, local authorities, or public health agencies in effect at the time of the event.

I further grant permission to the Event Director, organizers, and sponsors to use my name, voice, likeness, photographs, videos, and tournament results in any promotional materials, publications, broadcasts, or electronic media related to the event without compensation.

All registration fees are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances, including but not limited to injury, scheduling conflicts, weather conditions, emergencies, or inability to attend the tournament. The tournament organizers reserve the right to postpone, modify, or cancel the event due to weather, unsafe conditions, emergencies, or circumstances beyond their control, and no refunds will be issued in such cases. Tournament details, including format, schedule, divisions, and start times, are subject to change without prior notice. Registrations are non-transferable.

By registering for this event, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this waiver and release.
