In consideration of your accepting this entry, I, the participant (and any other participants submitted under this entry), intended to be legally bound, hereby, for myself (ourselves), my (our) heirs, executers and administrators, waive and release all rights and claims for damages I (we) may have against the Chilmark Road Race, the Event Director and all their agents assisting with the event, the Chilmark Community Center, the Town of Chilmark, and any and all sponsors, charitable beneficiaries, and their representatives, successors, and assigns for any and all injuries suffered by me (and any other participants submitted under this entry) in connection with said event, even if such injuries result from the negligence, fault or carelessness of the Chilmark Road Race or any of the other named groups or persons. I (we) know that is a potentially hazardous activity, which could cause injury or death, including the potential the contraction of a communicable disease resulting from contact with other participants, volunteers, race personnel, contract service providers, employees, and spectators. I certify as a material condition to my (us) being permitted to enter this race that I am (we are) physically fit and sufficiently trained for the completion of this event and that my (our) physical condition has been verified by a licensed Medical Doctor. 

I also authorize the use of photographs and videos that include my (our) image(s) and records of this event for promotional, informational, or other reasons deemed to be in the best interest of the event. Further, I understand that this event does not provide for refunds in the event of a cancellation or withdrawal by me (us), and by signing this waiver, I consent that I am (we are) not entitled to a refund if the event is cancelled before or during the event.

By submitting this entry, I acknowledge (or a parent or adult guardian for all children under 18 years) having read and agreed to the above waiver.
