•            I acknowledge that once registered for the race, there will be no cancellation or refunds except for the sole discretion of the race directors.

•            I acknowledge that in the event of inclement weather, incidents, accidents and/or epidemics, the race directors reserve the right to make judgments and decisions regarding the shortening/cancelling of the race, whether there will be refunds, the amount, and the method of communication.

•            I am in good health and do not have any cardiac disorders or general illness. I will maintain good health and sufficiently train for this race.  I acknowledge that I am solely responsible for my own injuries, accidents and losses during the race, including inherent risks of serious injury and/or death, including but not limited to sprains, strains, fractures; heat and cold injuries, including burns, heat-related illness; over-use syndrome; injuries involving the acts or omissions of other run participants or vehicles; animal attacks, bites and/or stings; contact with poisonous or irritating plants; heart attack; infections, exposure to virus(es) and/or injuries from water contamination or other environmental conditions; permanent paralysis; and/or death.

•            If the race directors determine that there is a condition which prohibits me from continuing the race, I will follow and be bound by the instruction(s) of the race director(s) to stop.  Additionally, I will obey all instructions of the race directors regarding the safety and management of the race.

To the fullest extent of the law, I, for myself, my next of kin, my heirs, administrators, and executor (collectively, “releasors”), hereby release and hold harmless and covenant not to file suit against (i) Fast Girls Running Company LLC, Richfield Joint Recreational District, directors, officers, volunteers, agents and employees; (ii) any event sponsors; and (iii) all other persons or entities associated with this event (collectively, the “releasees”) for any injury or damages I might suffer in connection with my participation. This release applies to any and all loss, liability, or claims I or my releasors may have arising out of my participation, including, but not limited to injury or damage suffered by me or others, whether such losses, liabilities, or claims be caused by falls, contact with and/or the actions of other participants, contact with fixed or non-fixed objects, contact with wild or domesticated animals, conditions of the event premises, negligence of the releasees, risks not known to me or not reasonably foreseeable at this time, or otherwise.

•            I understand that video/television footage, photos, articles, race related documents, etc. that may contain personal information such as my name, age, gender, race times and photos, may be used and/or shown in newspapers, television, magazines, internet, pamphlets, etc. I understand and agree that these rights belong to the race organization.

•            I acknowledge that I may not provide false information such as name or age. Only the individual registered for the race may participate in the race (I may not have someone run in my place).

•            I understand that I and my crew and or pacers will comply with all laws and regulations in Ohio and in the Richfield Heritage Preserve while running and while in the temporary campground. I will hold harmless Fast Girls Running Company, LLC, for any lost or stolen articles and for any injury caused by spectators. I understand that this is not a closed course and that other hikers, park employees, spectators, and wild or domesticated animals may be encountered.

I understand that I have given up substantial rights by signing this Release and have signed it freely and voluntarily without any inducement, assurance or guarantee being made to me and intend my signature to be a complete and unconditional release of liability to the greatest extent allowed by law.
