GOLD COUNTRY RUN - OFFICIAL RELEASE/AGREEMENT: As consideration for being permitted by Gold Country Run and Sport, LLC (GCRS), Marshall Medical Center, and the organizations, cities and counties in which the race is contested, (herein  collectively referred to as "Promoters and Sponsors") to participate in the GOLD COUNTRY RUN 10K, 5K and Kids K ("GCR"), presented by Marshall Medical Center (GCR) , I hereby agree that I, my assignees, heirs, distributees, guardians and legal representatives will not make a claim against, sue or attach the property of the Promoters and Sponsors, for any and all injuries or damage arising from my participation in GCR. I also give free use of my name and/or picture in any broadcast, telecast, or other account of this event. ASSUMPTION OF RISK: I am aware that running a distance running event is a strenuous and potentially dangerous activity. With knowledge of the risk involved, I hereby agree to accept any and all risks of injury or death. I represent and certify that I am physically fit and I have sufficiently trained for this event. I have carefully read this agreement and understand its contents. CANCELLATION POLICY: I acknowledge that the entry fee paid is non-refundable and non-transferable and agree that GCRS, in its sole discretion, may cancel GCR for reasons including (but not limited to) hazardous and potentially dangerous weather, unsafe course conditions, or governmental intervention. If GCR is cancelled for any reason, whether or not within the control of GCR, I understand and agree that there shall not be nor am I entitled to any refund of the entry fee or any other costs incurred in connection with my participation in GCR. 
 
I am aware that this is a release of liability and a contract between myself and the Promoters and Sponsors and sign it of my own free will.
