Staged out of Grove 19 in Jackson Park (just south of 63rd Street Beach by the basketball courts), the course features a smooth 3.1-mile loop heading north along the scenic Lakefront Trail to 55th Street before returning directly back to the finish line at Grove 19. Check-in and registration open on-site at 8:15 AM, followed by a staggered start timeline to keep the trail safe and clear: cyclists launch at 9:00 AM, while walkers and runners step off exactly one hour later at 10:00 AM.

This event is more than a race—it is a live public health movement to combat the silent crisis of Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) and Pulmonary Embolisms (PE). Blood clots are preventable and treatable, yet thousands suffer needlessly due to diagnostic delays and medical dismissal, particularly young adults and expectant mothers facing maternal health disparities.
