PARTICIPANT WAIVER & RELEASE

I hereby acknowledge and accept the following in relation to my participation, or my child's participation, in LET'S ROLL! by Laura's Rollerblading Academy:

Assumption of Risk

I understand that inline skating and skating competitions are physical activities involving inherent risks, including but not limited to falls, collisions with other participants or objects, loss of balance, equipment failure, physical exertion, weather or surface conditions, serious injury, property damage, paralysis, or death. I voluntarily assume the risks associated with participation in this event.

Release of Liability

I release, waive, and discharge Laura's Rollerblading Academy Corp., its owner, coaches, instructors, employees, contractors, volunteers, event officials, sponsors, representatives, and agents ("Releasees") from claims, demands, or causes of action related to injury, disability, death, or property damage arising from or connected to participation in the event, even if arising from the negligence of the Releasees, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

Participant Safety & Equipment

I confirm that the participant is physically able to participate in this skating event. I understand that a properly fitted helmet and appropriate protective equipment are required while participating. I agree that the participant will follow all safety instructions and decisions made by coaches and event officials.

Medical Authorization

In the event of an injury, illness, or medical emergency, I authorize Laura's Rollerblading Academy and event personnel to obtain or arrange reasonable emergency medical assistance for the participant when necessary. I understand that I am responsible for any resulting medical, transportation, treatment, or hospitalization expenses.

Photo & Video Release

I consent to Laura's Rollerblading Academy using photographs, videos, or recordings taken during the event for event documentation, promotional materials, advertising, social media, and the academy's website without additional compensation.

Event Changes & Refund Policy

I understand that registration fees are non-refundable. Laura's Rollerblading Academy reserves the right to modify, postpone, or cancel races or event activities due to weather, unsafe conditions, emergencies, venue requirements, or circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

Parent/Guardian Consent

If the participant is under 18 years of age, I certify that I am the participant's parent or legal guardian, or otherwise have legal authority to provide this consent. I have read and understood this waiver and voluntarily accept its terms on behalf of myself and the minor participant.

By accepting this waiver during registration, I confirm that I have read, understood, and voluntarily agree to these terms. I understand that I am giving up certain legal rights, including the right to sue, and agree to be bound by this agreement.
