The event will be held rain or shine, however, there is always the potential for extreme or severe weather conditions. In the event of severe weather, there may be a delay in the race start.  In rare cases severe and/or extreme weather conditions can cause the cancellation of the event.  Cancellation decisions are made when weather conditions present a high elevated risk of safety for participants, volunteers and race officials.  All such decisions are made after consultation with safety and town officials, first responders, medical personnel and race facilities as appropriate.  In the event of a cancellation due to severe/extreme weather as deemed by one of these town departments, there will be NO REFUNDS OR TRANSFERS of registration fees.
