Please read the following documents carefully

NOTE: PLEASE READ THIS CAREFULLY. IT INCLUDES VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION. ALL PARTICIPANTS ARE REQUIRED TO READ AND SIGN THIS FORM.

I acknowledge that the San Francisco Dolphin South End Runner, sponsored Double Dipsea is almost 14 miles long on a dangerous and grueling course and extends up and down steep hills where first-time entrants, as well as veterans, can easily go off course or be seriously injured. My participation is voluntary and is done at my own risk.

In consideration of your acceptance of my entry, I, the undersigned, intending to be legally bound hereby, for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, waive and release any and all rights and claims for damages I may have against the San Francisco Dolphin South End Running Club, its officers, directors, or race volunteers/members; Brazen Racing; the RRCA; the Golden Gate Chapter of the Red Cross; and any sponsor of the race for any and all injuries suffered by me in this race. I understand and agree that medical or other services rendered to me by or at the instance of any of the above parties is not an admission of liability to provide or continue to provide any such service and is not a waiver by any said parties of any right thereunder.

I attest that I am physically fit and sufficiently trained for the completion of this grueling race. I agree with all attempts to maintain ideal ecological conditions on the Dipsea Trail, and will obey any/all instructions regarding staying on the trail for this purpose. I understand no pets or wheels are allowed in the race or on the course.

Any pushing, shoving, touching, etc. by any participant to another park visitor is considered an assault by law and will be enforced as such by park staff. Additionally, any participant involved in any such incident will be cited and prosecuted as well as disqualified from the event and any forthcoming events.

I grant my permission to allow photo and/or other video images of myself to be used for promotional or informational purposes. I understand that in the case of an Act of God or in the case of force majeure, the event may be cancelled. I also understand that my entry fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.

I HAVE CAREFULLY READ THIS ACCIDENT WAIVER AND RELEASE FROM LIABILITY AND FULLY UNDERSTAND AND APPRECIATE ITS CONTENTS. I AM AWARE THAT THIS IS A WAIVER OF RIGHTS AND A RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND IS A CONTRACT BETWEEN MYSELF AND THE EVENT SPONSORS, ORGANIZERS AND ALL PERMITTING AGENCIES. I AM SIGNING IT OF MY OWN FREE WILL.
