RACE CANCELLED

Unfortunately due to the low number of registrations we are forced to cancel this race. already registered runners should have received an email with a few choices, including doint the race virtually and receive a partial refund, move their entry to Heart of Cool Trail Race, or a full refund. Check you inbox. 

Here Are Your Options:

Virtual races happen all the time, and allow you to join the fun without the crowds. You simply run the distance on your own, and report your results - we’ll send you instructions. Runners who select this option will receive 50% of their entry back, and once they complete the race virtually we will mail you all of your goodies, which includes your selected swag item, and your medal. The last day to make a decision is Oct 11, which is the day prior to what would have been our race day. 

While none of us wanted to cancel the race, it is unfortunately the best descion to make, but, because we know you are eager to run, we can switch your entry to the Heart of Cool Trail race. Your race entry will benefit the community of Cool and you get to run in their amazing trails. You can see deatils of their race by clicking here. Heart of Cool Trial Race. (OCT 19)

Nestled amidst the rugged terrain of the Sierra Nevada foothills, the night-time trail race in Auburn offers an exhilarating experience for both seasoned trail runners and adventurous newcomers alike. As the sun sets behind the rolling hills, the anticipation builds for what lies ahead under the star-studded canopy of the night sky.

With each step, runners are enveloped in the tranquil stillness of the night, punctuated only by the rhythmic sound of their own breathing and the occasional rustle of wildlife. The crisp night air fills their lungs, invigorating them as they navigate the twists and turns of the trail.

As runners push themselves to the limit, they are rewarded with breathtaking views of the surrounding wilderness bathed in the silvery light of the moon. The challenging terrain demands focus and determination, but the sense of accomplishment that comes with conquering each hill and descent is unparalleled.
