I know that attending and/or volunteering for the Annual Meeting (the “Event”) is a potentially hazardous activity, which could cause injury or death. I agree to abide by all rules of the Event, including the right of the club to deny or suspend my participation in the Event for any reason whatsoever. I attest that I have read the rules of the Event and agree to abide by them.

I assume all risks associated with attending an Event held in a golf clubhouse, meeting space, and surrounding grounds, including but not limited to: wet or slippery floors; stairs, ramps, and uneven indoor or outdoor surfaces; hazards related to golf course terrain, including divots, slopes, and loose gravel; the presence and movement of golf carts or maintenance vehicles; errant golf balls; electrical cords, audiovisual equipment, and temporary setups; furniture or fixtures that may shift or tip; exposure to cleaning agents, fragrances, or food allergens; insect bites or stings; and the potential for property loss or theft, all such risks being known and appreciated by me.

I acknowledge that alcohol may be served or consumed at the Event and assume all risks associated with the presence or consumption of alcohol, including but not limited to: impaired judgment, coordination, or reaction time; increased risk of falls or accidents; adverse reactions due to medications or underlying health conditions; dehydration or illness; and interactions with other attendees who may be impaired, all such risks being known and appreciated by me.

Having read this waiver and knowing these facts and in consideration of your accepting my entry and entry fees, I, for myself and any minors I registered for this Event, my heirs, assigns, executors, administrators, and anybody else entitled to act on my behalf, agree to waive, release, and hold harmless the Lakeland Runners Club, Inc., The Club at Eaglebrooke, RunSignUp.com, LLC, the Road Runners Club of America, all event sponsors, volunteers, vendors, organizers of the Event, and all of the foregoing’s representatives, affiliates, directors, volunteers, employees, and successors (the “Releasees”) from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in the Event, even though that liability may arise out of the negligence or carelessness on the part of the Releasees named in this waiver.

I grant permission to all of the foregoing to use my photographs, motion pictures, recordings or any other record for any legitimate promotional purpose.
