Follow the yellow brick road into 100 years of motion picture magic, Feb. 28, 2027, 9:00 am in the Heart of Screenland. Retrace the steps of fabled stars & directors along your journey!

Will you be writing your Academy Awards acceptance speech on the morning of the race? You can still participate by signing up for the Screenland 5K Virtual Run. Complete your 3.1-mile journey at a place and time that fits your schedule. We will reserve your commemorative shirt, superstar race bib, finisher’s medal and other goodies for after the event.   Post your time by April 1 to see it displayed with other Oscar-winning finishes on the website. 

Aspiring movie stars aged 17 and under can embark on an enchanting journey to the Emerald City in the Munchkin Dash. Cheered on by their favorite screen characters, each young star will receive a bib, shirt and medal. Adults may start with their kids in the back rows. The event will be organized by age groups with staggered start times. 4 & under, 100 m; 7 & under, 1/4 mi; 10 & under, 1K; 12 & under, 1 mi; 17 & under, 1 mi.
