Feel free to walk, run, crawl, roll, or scoot your way through this one mile route, but under NO circumstances should anyone attempt to skip. Skippers will be disqualified.

Note: If you are the captain of a ship or boat, you will not automatically be disqualified for being a skipper. If you are a skipper caught skipping, and therefore deemed a skipper and a skipper, then you will be disqualified.

NOTE: This 5K is run on the same route as the 10K. You will run to the halfway point of the 10K, and then stop at the sign that says "I give up".

ANOTHER NOTE: The end of the 5K is exactly five kilometers away from the start line of the 5K. There will be no buses or other forms of transportation available to take you back to the start line, where you likely parked. So, enjoy the 10K! Mwah ha ha ha!

A THIRD NOTE: If you think you can beat the system by parking at the finish, then you still need to walk five kilometers to get to the start. So... again... enjoy the 10K! Mwah ha ha ha!

A FINAL NOTE: If you think that you can foil our dastardly plan by having someone drop you off at the start, and then pick you up at the finish, then you will be disqualified.

Extra Event Information:

People will be cheering on the runners in this event. If you hear cowbells, do not expect to see cows. That is not to say that there are no cows to be seen along the way. However, if you do see something resembling a cow, do not automatically assume it is indeed a cow. If it looks like a cow, and acts like a cow, but has a strange looking seam in the middle of it, then this is likely just two people in a cow suit. However, if you do see something resembling two people in a cow suit,
do not automatically assume it is indeed two people in a cow suit. Beware of robot cows.

In consideration of you accepting this entry, I, the participant, intending to be legally bound and hereby waive or release any and all right and claims for damages or injuries that I may have against the Event Director, RunSignUp.com, and all of their agents assisting with the event, sponsors and their representatives and employees for any and all injuries to me or my personal property. This release includes all injuries and/or damages suffered by me before, during or after the event. I recognize, intend and understand that this release is binding on my heirs, executors, administrators, or assignees.
