Race around SLCC’s campus and UL’s Research Park then return to Cafe 329 for music entertainment by DJ Tone Cosby!

Saturday, October 6th; 8am – 1-Mile Fun Run; 8:30am – 5K

Gumbo provided after the race!

Several lucky SLCC students will win a scholarship on Race Day! The more family and friends they bring, the more chances they have to win. All other scholarship funds raised will go through SLCC’s official application process.

Registration Fees (Early & Late Fees & dates): 

Early Bird Registration (before Sept. 13): 5K: $25; $15 for SLCC Students
1-Mile: $15; $10 for SLCC Students    T-shirts are only guaranteed thru Sept. 18th.

Registration (Sept. 14-Oct. 5): 5K: $30; $15 for SLCC Students
1-Mile: $20; $10 for SLCC Students  T-shirts are only guaranteed thru Sept. 18th. 

Race-Day Registration (Oct. 6): 5K: $35; $20 for SLCC Students
1-Mile: $25; $15 for SLCC Students    T-shirts are only guaranteed thru Sept. 18th.

Age Groups: 1-14,15-19,20-29,30-39,etc. 70+

Awards: Top Overall M&F, & 1st, 2nd, 3rd, M&F each age group for a 5K and Top Overall M & F for a 1 Mile for 14 & Under
