Participation Waiver

PLEASE READ ENTIRE RELEASE AGREEMENT BEFORE SIGNING AGREEMENT AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY The LONGBRIDGE HALF MARATHON AND 10K/5k 2025: I, individually, (and/or as a parent, and /or guardian of the named minor) for and in consideration of acceptance of this entry in the aforementioned event, do hereby RELEASE, INDEMNIFY, HOLD HARMLESS, and forever discharge PRIEST LAKE MULTISPORTS LLC, 7B RUNNERS, AND THEIR OWNERS, OFFICERS AND AGENTS, LANDOWNERS, AFFILIATED COMPANIES, EMPLOYEES, VOLUNTEERS, AND MEMBERS from all claims for any cause, including negligence, arising out of or relating to any injury, illness, loss, or damage including death, related to participating in the aforesaid event. I CONTRACTUALLY AGREE that ALL claims for injury and/or death shall be GOVERNED by IDAHO LAW and EXCLUSIVE JURISDICTION shall be in Idaho state court with venue in Bonner County Idaho. Participant understands risks of this event may include; hyperventilation, choking, being contacted or kicked by other participants, overexertion, collision with other runners, vehicles, or stationary objects causing severe injury or death, heat exhaustion, hypothermia, exposure to changing weather and natural conditions, dehydration, falls, tripping or becoming lost off course. Participant certifies that he/she has carefully read the above provisions, and knows and understands the contents, and signs this General Release of his/her own free act. I further state I am in the proper physical condition to participate in this event. In addition, I agree that my participation in this event requires that I will not participate with anything event management deems dangerous to me or other participants and that event management may remove me from this event for any reason at its sole discretion. I also agree that if any part or the entire program is canceled or modified for any reason including unsafe weather, climate conditions, natural disaster, or conditions beyond the control of race management, that all entry fees are non-refundable except in the case that not enough participants register, in which case a full or partial refund will be granted. By signing this waiver, I understand and agree that my registration is created exclusively for the individual registered and that the registration is not transferable to another participant, and that if I am not able to participate, I understand that all registration fees are not refundable. I further agree to follow all safety instructions provided to me by race management both written and verbal. I, the undersigned, have read this agreement carefully and fully understand its contents. I am aware that it is a release of liability and a contract between myself and Priest Lake Multisports LLC, I agree that this contract is binding upon me, my heirs, guardians, assigns and legal representatives.

Further, I grant permission to all the foregoing to use my name, voice and images of myself in any photographs, motion pictures, results, publications or any other print, videographic or electronic recording of this event for legitimate purposes.

This event follows the standard running industry policy: All entry fees are non-refundable. We reserve the right to postpone or cancel the event due to circumstances beyond our control such as a natural disaster or emergency or as required to protect the safety of participants and staff. No refunds will be issued under these circumstances. We reserve the right to change the details of the event without prior notice. I understand that my entry fee is nonrefundable and bib numbers are non transferable.
