Course Conditions
Greenways for Nashville, Metro Parks, and the Richland Creek Run committee work together to make the race a safe and engaging event. Both Parks staff and committee members have inspected the course to address issues.
However, the course being outside, and subject to the whims of nature, there may remain certain hazards that race participants should take into account as they charge down the path.
- There may be water on the course.
- There may be wash in the form of mud and gravel on the course.
- There may be vegetative debris on the course.
- There may be fauna poop on the course.
- The bridges may be slippery if damp.
- There may be uneven surfaces on the bridges.
- And, there will absolutely be uneven surfaces in sections of the pavement.
Please pay attention to your footing as you sprint, run, trot, job, walk, amble, or any combination of the preceding.
