The Education Foundation of Sarasota County is proud to celebrate runners of every age on the Ringling Bridge. All 5K awards are given separately for male and female finishers, and age is based on your age on race day, April 25, 2027.

Recognized at the 8:15 a.m. Awards Ceremony on Race Day

  • Grandmasters (ages 50–59): 1st place

Biggest School Team

  • 1st, 2nd and 3rd place go to the Sarasota County public and charter schools with the highest 5K participation compared to their size. We divide each school team’s 5K registrations by the school’s total enrollment at the start of the 2026–2027 school year, so schools of every size have an equal shot. To count toward your school, create or choose your school’s team when you register on RunSignUp. More details to come.
