NEW COURSE FOR 2020
We need to change the course for this year's event. The race will now start and finish in Indian Island County Park. The course will now be on the roadway for the first 3.8 miles and then will enter Indian Island County Park for the two - 5k loops inside the park - mostly on trails.
We will still have the awards ceremony and post race party at River Walk Bar and Grille in Downtown Riverhead.
We encourage you to park at River Walk Bar and Grille and we will have a shuttle available to take you to Indian Island County Park and back. The restaurant to the race site is a 2.6 mile drive. The shuttle will run continuously from 7:00am – 11:00am. The shuttle will pick you up at the red EventPower feather flag in the parking lot behind River Walk Bar and Grille. The best address for GPS is 40 Peconic Ave, Riverhead, NY 11901. The race starts at 8:15am and participants have 2 hours and 10 minutes to complete the course. There are limited parking spots available at Indian Island County Park, but you can park there if you choose. We wanted to keep the after party with LIVE music, DELICIOUS breakfast buffet and FREE Beer so we are offering a shuttle so that you can park your car in the morning and not have to move it until you are ready to leave for the day.
