COVID - 19 Safety Procedures
Safety is a top priority for our participants. We believe the location and smart procedures we've devised with Road America make the Road America Classic a uniquely safe experience for road racing in 2020.
Here's some of the things we are doing to ensure your safety
- Participants who are feeling ill are encouraged not to attend
- All attendees (staff, volunteers, participants and spectators) will be temperature screened at the gates of Road America
- All attendees will receive a custom Road America Classic buff. We are asking all participants to wear this buff while in the participant corrals before and after the event. During the event, wearing your buff is optional
- All attendees will be grouped into waves of 50 or less and started in a staggered time fashion
- Attendees will be encouraged to physically distancing at all times and to wear a mask whenever that is difficult
