Athlete Guide
Packet Pickup
- Location: Station Belmont, 4 N Main St, Belmont NC 28012
- Option 1: 5:30PM - 7:30PM Wednesday, October 2
- Option 2: 5:30PM - 7:30PM Friday, October 4
- Please contact us in advance if you are unable to make any of these times
- Bib numbers will be assigned at packet pickup
- Runner bags with shirts and other sponsor-provided goodies will be picked up at this time as well

- 8:20AM: Announcement and kickoff
- 8:30AM: Race Begins
- 9:30AM: 5K Awards
- 9:50AM: Raffle
- 10:10AM: 10K Awards

Parking & Race Start
- The race will start at 8:30AM Saturday, October 5, 2024 (course will close 2 hours after start time).
- Location Rocky Branch Park (103 Sacco St, Belmont NC 28012)
- Please be respectful of our neighbors by not blocking driveways or other cars and ensure you’re not blocking any street signs.
- Suggested overflow parking is nearby at Reid Park:

- Raffle will be held after the race and before awards are given out!
- Raffle tickets can be purchased at packet pickup and before the race

The Course
- Race Route: The route will start at the main entrance on the Belmont side of the park. Runners will begin down the main Rocky Branch Trail, connect through the Canopy and Euler trails, and loop back before the parking lot on the Cramerton side of the park before returning on the Rocky Branch Trail to the finish line near the parking lot.

- 5K: 1 lap around the course
- 10K: 2 laps around the course
- A water station will be setup at the Cramerton turnaround point, but please be sure to bring your own water and snacks for the course as needed and be respectful of the park by keeping it clean and disposing of all trash in the designated trash bins.
- Trails will be marked with signs with arrows and purple stake flags
- The course will be a mix of single track and larger gravel paved service road-like terrain. There may be technical features along the trail, but the course will always have a bypass around the obstacles to be avoided.
- Please be respectful and safe if trying to pass other runners on the course.
Timing
- The race will have a gun start and race timing will be by Innovative Timing and bib chips

- 19 - 29 Male

- 60+ Mixed
- Overall Winners
- Complete results will be posted to the race website within 72 hours
Spectators
- Spectators are welcome to cheer on their friends and family, however we ask they they stay off of the course during the race out of respect for other runners
Volunteers
- This event is supported 100% by volunteers. Be sure to say thank you to those helping make the race happen when you see them on race day or packet pickup, and If anyone is joining you race day that might be interested in volunteering, let us know by sending an email to belmontrunclub@gmail.com
