Entrance and Parking is FREE but you MUST arrive before 8:00 AM to receive the free Parking.

Once you pass the entrance gate, make a right and drive all the way down to the end to reach Beach Lot 25 (located near Warner & PCH).

Look for the event tents—that’s your start/finish area.

⏰ Race Day Schedule:

6:00 AM: State Beach Parking Opens.

Parking FREE if you arrive before 8:00 AM

7:00AM to  8:00AM: Runner Check-In & Same-Day Registration Opens

7:545AM: Announcements & Warm-Up

8:00AM: 5K | 10K Start

9:20AM: Awards

10:00AM: Course Closes

The course is a simple, flat, and fast out-and-back route along the beach path.

Runners will head straight out on the pedestrian path from Lot 25, passing SeaLegs, to the mile 1.55 turnaround point. This turn will be clearly marked with a runner turn sign, pink flag, water station, and staff.

• 5K runners will turn at this point and run straight back through the finish line.

• 10K runners will pass the finish line and continue to the clearly marked “Runner U-Turn” sign located just beyond the finish to begin their second 5K loop. After completing the second loop, runners will return and finish through the finish line.

⏱️ Race Results

Results are powered by the ChronoTrack timing system and will be available within 2 minutes of crossing the finish line at the Race Ready Athletics tents. 

Simply enter your name or bib number on the Chromebook to view your results instantly.

📸 Race Day Photos

We’ll have several photographers out on course and around the venue—so be sure to smile when you see them! 😄

Within 24 hours of the event, we’ll upload thousands of race photos, and they are completely FREE to download—your memories to keep.
