Kids Dash
The Kids Dash is open to children of all ages! Kids will participate in a short sprint, with distances tailored to each age group.
The Kids Dash will be organized into the following age groups:
- 2 years old and under
- Age 3
- Age 4
- Age 5
- Age 6
- Ages 7 & 8
- Age 9 & 10
- 11 years old and up
Parents may assist children ages 4 and under. If your child requires additional assistance, please remain toward the back of the lineup for everyone’s safety. All other parents are encouraged to cheer on their runners and take photos from behind the barricades.
And for a sweet finish, every kiddo will receive a complimentary frozen custard from Andy’s Frozen Custard after completing the Dash!
PACKET PICKUP:
Pick up your Kids Dash cape early at Packet Pickup! If you’re picking up on race day, stop by the Kids Tent in Finish Line Fest before the Dash to receive your cape and bib.
READY TO RUN:
Around 9:15 AM, we’ll begin gathering our Kids Dash participants with an announcement and the Cha-Cha Slide!
Please make your way to the Starting Line and line up by age group. Volunteers will be holding signs to help guide you to the right spot.
Once everyone is ready, we’ll share a few quick instructions and call each age group one at a time to dash toward the finish line!
