Parking:
Parking is free after 5:00pm Friday for packet pick-up and on Saturday until 9:50 am on race morning. If you leave the parking lot after 9:50 am and try to re-enter, you will have to pay for parking. The following pin will guide you to our participant parking area at King’s Dominion.

Amusement Park Tickets:
All tickets will be emailed to you prior to the park opening on Saturday June 1st at 11am. This allows you to access them on your phone for easy scanning on race day! Each ticket is valid for a single use up to 30 days after the date of the race. Valid for 30 days from the day of the event.
Spectator/Guest Tickets:
Spectators can come for free however if they would like a ticket into the amusement park for afterwards, they will need to Purchase a Discounted Run & Ride Guest Ticket. Ticket Prices increase day of event! If the spectator just wants to watch the event from the start/finish line and not enter the park afterwards, they can simply show-up and cheer!
Post Race Food:
Sweet & Salty snacks and beverages will be served after the race at the REV3Endurance Finish Line. No pre-race food.

T-Shirts & Medals: All racers will receive a race medal! Shirts are limited to those who registered prior to May 1st. We did order extra and will do our best to provide race shirts to as many as possible based on registration times.
Aid Stations:
Locations of Aid Stations are provided on each course profile below. Aid stations will have water, Powerade, bananas, granola bars, and staff to assist racers.
Restrooms:
Restrooms are located at the start/finish and all TAs for the 5K/10K course. The Half-Marathon will have several restrooms along the route.
Time Cut-Offs:
We designed the course so all racers can easily finish! Racers must maintain a 20:00 min/mile pace which is an easy walk. For example, for the half marathon, you must be at the 6.1 mile mark by 10:45am (2:15 minutes into the race); this is a 22:08 pace which is a slow walk!
Running Surfaces:
Surfaces will be variable on the course. The park has a variety of brick paths, sidewalk style concrete, roads,, etc. The Half-Marathon will have a gravel road section and a railroad crossing. These routes will take you on a variety of terrain as you traverse the full Kings Dominion Experience!

Pet Policy: Pets are prohibited except for service animals.

Bag Drop: There will be no bag drop for the event. The parking lot is very close.

Amusement Park Entry: After the event, those entering the park for the day will have to renter the park through the main entrance.

Security Screening: For safety, all participants/spectators will move through a simple security screening station on their way into the event.

Strollers: Strollers will start at the back of each race.

Timing: RFID Bib Timing will be used for all races.

Can I still register? - Yes! Registration is still open! A late registration fee of $15 does apply for day-of registration.

Can I defer my race entry for next year? Yes. You can log-into our runsign-up account and defer your entry to next year. There is a deferral fee which covers nonrefundable expenses we have already incurred for your entry this year.

What is Early Packet Pick-up? Early packet pick-up is the evening before the race where you can check-in and receive your bib, t-shirt, etc. a day early! This also means you do not have to check-in on race day. If you pick-up your bib and packet early, simply show-up at the start time and you're set to go!

What happens if I do not make the time cut-off? We will do our best to move you out of the park and allow you to continue on the course and cross the finish line! This must be done within reason and take safety into account.

I am running the 1/2M, 10K, 5K and my family is running the 1 Mile Fun Run. Can I join them for the Fun Run after my event without paying for another race? Yes! As long as you registered for another race and finish in time, you can join them!

My children are running in the fun run and I want to be with them on the course, do I need to register? Yes. To travel on the course with your children, you MUST register for the event.

If I do not show on race day, can I still receive my park ticket? Yes! You will receive this via email. Valid for 30 days from the day of the event.
