15th Annual Steve Olsen VIRTUAL Run for Rogosin

Fri September 20 - Sun September 29, 2024

About Us

Celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2023, the Rogosin Institute has long been recognized as one of the premier not-for-profit centers for the diagnosis and management of kidney disease in the country and for its unique approach to the prevention, detection, and management of chronic and end-stage kidney disease.

A leader in home hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and in-center hemodialysis services, the Rogosin Institute is dedicated to compassionate, high quality, individualized care for people through an integrative approach that combines cutting-edge research with prevention and disease management efforts. Rogosin cares for over 1,500 patients at ten locations throughout Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, and the Bronx. Rogosin also operates one of the largest home dialysis programs in New York City and continues to expand its home program offerings. In addition, Rogosin’s Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD) Program was recognized as a Center of Excellence by the Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD) Foundation in November 2022.

The Rogosin Institute is at the forefront of increasing access to excellent kidney care through its Prevention and Education in Advanced Kidney Disease (PEAK) Program, an educational initiative that provides support to chronic kidney disease patients and their loved ones, leading to measurably improved health outcomes. A recent grant from the NewYork-Presbyterian Dalio Center for Health Justice is bringing PEAK to greater numbers of patients in underserved communities and reflects Rogosin’s ongoing commitment to addressing healthcare inequities as an integral part of its mission.

Through its affiliation with NewYork-Presbyterian, the Rogosin Institute provides inpatient and outpatient dialysis services at NewYork-Presbyterian and other hospital locations throughout the region. Rogosin contributes a key component of the kidney services provided by NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, which in 2024 was named to U.S. News & World Reports Best Hospitals Honor Roll, a distinction recognizing hospitals that deliver the highest quality of care across a range of specialties, procedures, and conditions.
