Tie Breaker Guidelines

Tie Breaker Guidelines

In the event of a tie in the Run Brevard Race Series standings, the following criteria will be used in order:

1. Head-to-Head Record The runner with the most victories against the tied competitor(s) in races they ran together will be ranked higher. A victory is determined by chip time for Masters and Age Group divisions, and gun time for Overall.

2. Combined Time If head-to-head records are still equal, the runner with the lowest combined time in the races they ran together will be ranked higher. Masters and Age Group divisions use chip time; Overall uses gun time.
