All participants, including virtual, are welcome to skip the line on Saturday and pick up their bib and shirt early at Big Peach Running Company! You may pick up your own bib/shirt and any others in your household. We do not offer a team captain the option to pick up for their entire team.

If you selected "Race Day" for your shirt size, you can still pick up your bib early and then return to the Volunteer area after the Race at 9am to choose a shirt from any remaining inventory. If you wish to change your shirt size, you'll receive the size for which you registered at early pickup and have the opportunity to exchange it for another size from any remaining inventory at pam at the Volunteer area after the Race.

Only immediate family in the same household may pick up shirts and bibs for another person.

Available to children ages 6 and under; occurs from 9:00am-9:15am (approx time) to allow parents to complete the 1K or 5K prior to the Tot Trot. A 50 yard dash across our finish line for the tots to experience their own Race. Tots will receive a finisher ribbon and a goodie bag. 

Any individual who will walk, run,or otherwise participate in the SBTF 5K, 1K, or Tot Trot should be registered as a race participant.  The registration process, which includes acceptance of the terms in liability waiver and remittance of respective fees, should be completed by the respective guardian. Children in strollers/carriers who are not walking or running in the race do not need to be registered for the race.

After you have registered for the event, no refunds are available for any reason. Your registration fee will be converted to a donation. Please see our "Policies" tab for further details.

Yes! You may register online at any time prior to check-in closing at 7:15am Saturday. Visit the website or scan the QR code at the race to register. Event shirts are not guaranteed for race-day registration. 

Once registered, get in any line at check-in to receive your bib.

There is no available street level parking for this event. Suggested parking is on level P1 of the Atlantic Station parking deck.  All activities will occur on the Atlantic Green.  Stairwell entrances #2, #3, #7, #11, #12 from the parking deck will lead you to the Atlantic Green.

No. Please leave valuables in your vehicle or at home. Some teams elect to reserve a tent location and have personal items stored as a group. Check with your team capatin if you are part of a team to see if they reserved a location.

Water stations will be setup at the Finish Line as well as at two stations along the course. Food and beverage will be on-site for purchase of refreshments. 

There are restrooms located on either side of the movie theater in Atlantic Station. No porta-potties are along the Race course.

Medical assistance animals are permitted at Race For Research.  We do ask, however,  that you not bring family pets to the race.    

Yes, strollers may be taken on to the Race course. We simply ask that race participants with strollers be cautious to not impede the path of those running the event for timed results. Please line up at the start line behind the timed runners.

This course is certified and a Peachtree Road Race qualifier. (GA24070WC) 

We request all walkers (whether 5K or 1K) line up behind runners to help facilitate the start of the Race and avoid collisions. Children and strollers are welcomed, however if you bring a stroller we ask that you also start behind the runners.

All participants earn an event shirt. However, quantities are limited and those registered by 8/31 are guaranteed a shirt in their size preference. After that date, shirt size is not guaranteed nor a shirt. If your preferred size is out of inventory at the time you register, you can select "Race Day" as your shirt size. This means you can visit the volunteer area at 9am and select from any remaining inventory of event shirts.

Plaque: Masters Male & Masters Female (>40)- 5K

Plaque & $25 gift card to Big Peach Running Co.: Overall Male & Female 5K

Medal: Top 3 place finishers in all age divisions - 5K

• Age Divisions are 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 50-69, 70+ for both males and females

It could take 7-10 business days to post this transaction. Note, any funds mailed but not yet received by the Foundation might not be reflected in fundraising efforts recognized during the Award ceremony at the event. We will pull the Top Individual and Team Fundraisers totals on the Friday night before the race at 9:00 P.M Eastern Standard Time with the information available to us.

Donations by check or other offline methods may be sent along to the SBTF at 5400 Glenridge Drive NE, Unit 422471, Atlanta, GA 30342. Monies received will be credited towards the participant or team as noted on the form. Funds must be received by the Wednesday prior to the Race for Research to count towards awards.
