Run for Love of Reading 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run 2023

Welcome to the "Run for Love of Reading" Fundraising Race!

Join us for an exhilarating running event that combines the spirit of competition with the noble cause of supporting Gloverville Elementary School's literacy initiatives. Our primary goal is to raise funds to bring a state-of-the-art book vending machine to our school, revolutionizing the way children access and engage with books.

Please bring a new or gently used children's book appropriate for 4-12 years old to help fill the book vending machine.

Packet Pick up: Early: Friday, September 8, 2023 6pm-7pm at Citizens Park, 651 Old Airport Rd, Aiken, SC 29802 or race day, Sept 9, 2023 7:00am - 7:45am

Late registration is race day. Runners guaranteed a t-shirt if reregistered before Aug 14. Anyone who registers after Aug 14, is not guaranteed a T-shirt.

Race Day Schedule:

7:00am - 7:45am packet pickup and late registration

8:00am - 8:30am - 1 Mile Fun Run

8:45am - 10:00am - 5K Run

10:15am - Awards
