Join us for a race under the lights!! Tall Pines STEM Academy is holding their 1st Annual TPSA Running with the Wolves 5K on Friday, February 26th at 6pm at Citizens Park. At our school we LOVE physical education and fitness! Proceeds from this race will help support our physical education program and gymnasium reconstruction project. Grab your family and friends and join us for this one of a kind race in beautiful Aiken, SC!!
At Tall Pines STEM Academy, our mission is to provide an option for families where STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) is intertwined in the school’s culture and prepares middle school students to become the next generation of ethical leaders. Tall Pines STEM Academy provides a combination of classroom and outdoor learning experiences to engage students, promote wellness and physical fitness, inspire creativity, foster critical thinking and problem solving skills, and cultivate citizenship and leadership skills through rigorous and relevant content and projects in a natural setting.
2021 SAFETY GUIDELINES:
- All in-person participants will be required to wear a mask prior to the start of the race.
- Masks and hand sanitizer will be available at multiple locations.
- We encourage runners to stay with their family and not congregate in large groups.
- Participants are encouraged to use self-support for hydration/nutrition. We will provide 2 water stations.
Registration Fees:
5K Chipped Timed - $20.00. After February 23rd it will be $25.00
T-shirts:
T-shirts will be available to participants who register on or before February 5th. T-shirts are not guaranteed to participants who register after February 5th. Extras will be ordered but will be given out on a first come, first serve basis. Sizes include: YM, YL, AS, AM, AL, AXL, AXXL.
Timing/Awards/Race Divisions:
Awards will be given to the overall top male and female finishers as well as the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place male and female finishers in each age division. Age divisions are: 12 and under; 13-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-above.
Course Description:
The run will start and finish near Citizen's Park entrance located off Pine Log Road. The course is flat pavement. Course map can be found on 2 Girls and a Clock Facebook Page.
Packet Pick-up/Late Registration:
- Runners can pick up their race packet and/or register on Thursday, February 25th at Citizens Park - Complex 1 from 5:00pm -7:00pm.
- Packets and registration will also be available for pick-up on race day from 5:00-5:30pm.
- Registration will close promptly at 5:30pm.
- We accept cash, checks and credit.
- Complex 1 is off of Banks Mill Rd./Pine Log Rd.

Can I walk the event? YES
When and where are results posted? Results are posted on Runsignup.com and 2 Girls and a Clock Race and Timing Services Facebook Page within 24 hours of the event.
