Come join us for our annual Anderson Area YMCA Reindeer Run, Sponsored by Carson's Steak Warehouse, on Saturday, December 4th, 2021 for our 1 mile, 5k, or both. Registration includes a festive long sleeve Reindeer Run shirt. Chick Fil A will have grab and go breakfast for race participants.
Holiday headgear and attire is encouraged for this fun, family friendly race.
Register by November 12th at noon to guarantee your shirt by race day. Sizes and quantities may be limited, so get your registration in today!
Packet pick up:
Packet pick up will be held on Friday, December 3rd from 12pm until 7pm, and then resume Saturday morning, December 4th, at 7am. We will be monitoring conditions and adjusting our protocols based on the conditions at race time. Packet pick up will be held at the Anderson Area YMCA side entrance facing Reed Road. Please check your email as we will send out more information the week prior to the event.
Race Day Registration:
All registration, including Race Day Registration, will be conducted through RunSignUp.com. We will not be holding any in-person, face to face race day registration. Please register through RunSignUp.com, and then head to packet pick up to collect your bib.
COVID-19 RACE PROTOCOL:
Masks will be recommended, but not required, at this outdoor event. Masks are recommended at packet pick up as well. Social distancing, especially at the start, is recommended. Results will be based on CHIP time, so feel free to distance as necessary. Gun time will only be used as a backup in the case of improper chip readings.

The Anderson Area YMCA Reindeer Run is proud to offer a school competition between the schools in our local districts. $500 will be awarded to the school with the highest percentage of participation, and $500 will be awarded to the school with the highest number of participants. To be counted toward the school competition, your school must be selected under the "Join a Team" option!
Participants must be registered by Sunday, November 21st at 12pm (noon) to be counted toward the elementary school competition.

Due to COVID-19, there will be no awards ceremony immediately following the races. Awards will be available for pick up the week following the race, and awards will only be given to participants of the in person races. All in person results will be based off of CHIP TIME due to the rolling start format.
