SpringFest's Follow Me 5K and Fun Run & Pancake Breakfast is a great race for young kids and families! The easy, flat half-mile fun run is perfect for younger kids, and both races are timed.

This 5K and Half-Mile Fun Run is sponsored by Trinity United Methodist Church as part of the #Trinitystrong Spring Festival, and this year we're also celebrating our 75th Anniversary as a church in Anderson at this location.

Don't let any rain slow ya down! We have a large gym to keep us dry, with plenty of indoor seating for pancakes, bake sales, door prizes, kids' games, the large bounce house and slide. There's also a covered shelter next to the start line. Runners will need to run between the raindrops, though.

Current prices are shown when you click Sign Up.

Prices go up before race day, so don't forget to register early! Make 5 or more referrals and save $20 on your registration fee.

• Race bags with up to $30 in giveaways and discounts, including Chick-fil-A gift cards, a free hour of Big Air jump time, free ice cream, Krispy Kreme and Gotta Run discount cards, local restaurant discount cards and more
• Free 1-hour Big Air gift card for the first 30 to sign up for the fun run
• T-shirts: order by Wednesday, April 22 to have yours included at packet pickup. Individual shirts may be available to purchase on race day while supplies last.

• Age group awards for both events: medals and Chick-fil-A food cards, while supplies last.

Over $900 in door prizes will be given away after the 5K finishes (approximately 9:30). Any race entry or pancake breakfast ticket automatically enters you into the drawings, which are drawn from race bib numbers and breakfast ticket stubs. You must be present to win.

Door prizes include an SC Palmetto tree silver and diamond necklace (retail value $300), a 3-month free YMCA membership ($100), lots of gift cards from $15 up to $50 each, gift baskets and many more items.

The Spring Festival runs alongside the races until 11:00 AM. Bring your whole family to participate, cheer each other on and enjoy the festival, which is open to the community:

• Kids' games
• Blow-up bounce houses
• Music
• Pancake breakfast (8:30 to 10:30 AM; $10 tickets available in advance from the church office or on site)
• Bake sale
• Kids' art & face painting

Festival proceeds support TUMC's efforts as we continue a legacy of serving the local Anderson community. Pamphlets detailing our local community impact will be available on site and included in the race packet, along with upcoming church events and contact information. TUMC is a great church, and you are always invited and welcome to visit.
