Join us for the 11th Annual Springdale 5K Run and Walk on Saturday, September 11th, 2021! This race starts at 8am on the grounds of the Historic Springdale Race Course and the National Steeplechase Museum! Finish strong at the gates of the Carolina and Colonial Cup! Runners and Walkers are welcome! Race proceeds benefit the Health and Homeless initiatives in Kershaw county operated by the United Way.of Kershaw County! New Day Transitional Shelter is a multifaceted United Way transitional housing initiative that strives to end homelessness by providing both shelter and support services, enabling individuals and families to acquire the necessary life skills to become self-sufficient. Help support the New Day Transitional Shelter by bringing in a donation from our needs list to packet pick up or on race day! Look for the BIG DONATION BOX! Our needs list can be found below!
This certified and officially timed race starts at 8am. The course will have three water stops and lots of friendly volunteers to guide and cheer you on the the finish line! Your registration includes a quality Springdale 5K Shirt, FREE Waffles with all the fixings at the finish line, and a Bounce House for the kids! Dogs on leashes and children in strollers are welcome. This is a great community event we hope you will enjoy with your family and friends!
COMPETE FOR OUR TEAM AWARD! Get a group of your friends or coworkers and run the race as a team! Teams of five or more will receive a $5 off discount per participant. Our group with the largest number of team members will receive our Springdale 5K Run and Walk Team Spirit Award!. Team Registration is easy! Just click the button for TEAMS on our registration page!
SHIRT DEADLINE! - You must be registered by Friday, August 27, 2021 to be guaranteed a shirt! We will order extra shirts! But there are NO GUARANTEES of a race shirt after the deadline.
