Please understand there is a high probability of this event happening virtually.
We are still planning this event as if it will take place at Cannon Park because we are highly optimistic runners who love to support a good cause.
This event will occur as a Virtual Race regardless of if we hold an actual event or not. This means that event if all the pieces fall into place that enable us to hold this event and are able to have runners cross the Charleston James Island Connector, the option to run the race virtually will still be available.
This means that there will be no refunds offered. When you register you are registering for a Virtual Race that may also be held as an actual event in which you are requesting automatic placement in to that event should the city allow us to hold the race. This will enable us to honor our sponsors who are donating to this great cause and ensure that we can raise generous funds to donate to the Gavalas Kolanko Foundation.
