The Race
Welcome to the 1st Annual Diamond Shores Conway Turkey Trot. This race is being put on by Simply Timing , which is proud to present the first ever Conway, SC Turkey Trot on the largest running day of the year.
Enjoy the 5K race as we wind through the beautiful downtown area of Conway and the Riverfront Area. Get the entire family involved with our free Gobbler Kids' Dash once the 5k finishes! Participants are encouraged to dress in costume!
Continue a family tradition or make a new one with us this year!!
Hot chocolate and coffee will be served before and after the race to participants and spectators with other refreshments as well.
There will be a canned food drive and Door Prize Giveaway. For every canned good you bring the day of you will get a raffle ticket, so bring 5 canned goods you get 5 raffle tickets. These tickets will be good for door prizes, which will be gift cards and other free giveaways. All canned goods will go to CAP!

THE COURSE
The Terrace in Downtown Conway

The race starts and finishes on Laurel Street right next to the Terrace in downtown Conway, SC
The course is stroller and pet friendly but the race does go on the riverwalk which can be challenging for strollers

History
Churches Assisting People was established in 1986 by local churches in and around the Conway area to coordinate crisis services on their behalf. CAP is now supported by local congregations, businesses, civic groups, individuals, and grants.
