Join Ed Piotrowski, Coastal Carolina University, Teal Nation, and Apex Promoz as we launch the 2026 hurricane season with an unforgettable 1-mile, 5K, and 10K race in the Carolinas.
This event will be streamed live, making it one of the most exciting race experiences of the summer.

No, we cannot have pets on course. If this is a service animal please reach out to CCU.
Yes, absolutely!
Yes, at the halfway point of the 5K.
Strollers are allowed, but not encouraged. Please note that the course includes changing surfaces, including roads and sidewalks, so use caution if you choose to participate with one.
Yes, the 10K will consist of two 5K laps. With the growing campus, we weren’t able to map out a full traditional 10K course this year.
Yes, parking is free.
